Designed for estimators who have completed ACR 184 Structural Damage Analysis, this course develops the advanced planning, compliance, and professional judgment skills that define a complete Repair Planner in a full-service collision repair environment.

Skills include

  • applying ethical decision-making to repair plans,
  • using the SCRS Operations Checklist and
  • DEG to identify non-included items,
  • selecting OEM-guided repair methods,
  • performing blueprinting (BLU01),
  • integrating scanning and ADAS calibration requirements into estimates, and
  • adapting repair plans to real production capacity.

I-CAR embedded courses include VT210E01 Introduction to Diagnostics and Scan Tools and VT200E01 Calibration of Front-Facing Cameras and Front Radars. The course opens with a Prior Skills section reviewing structural, suspension, EV/PHEV, special materials, and OEM/DRP balancing competencies.

A key benefit of ordering the full program is that subscribers can substitute a different candidate if their first learner does not start the 3rd course, at no additional subscription cost.
